Case Study: Dynamic Simulator Coupling
In cooperation with Simulation Solutions, Inc a series of distillation fundamentals applications has been developed that include dynamic process simulation with various DCS emulation options. The modules cover fundamental equipment operation for a distillation unit starting with centrifugal pump operation working the trainees up to running a complete distillation plant.

 Case Study: Reactor Inspection
For a large petrochemical company, a series of training tools were developed for reactor turnaround procedures. A 30 minute video included explaining the process in detail, from pre-planning to loading and closing up.
A 3D interactive inspection tool prompted the trainees with potential issues inside the reactor and had to be marked. In a game-style environment, a score would indicate the percentage of the issues correctly identified.
These tools gave the students the unique opportunity to get familiar with the environment and procedures before ever setting a foot inside the tank.
